My approach
I believe in working compassionately and competently with the patient to help them manage their pain. I practice holistic pain medicine, using the Bio-psycho-social model, exploring, and understanding the diagnosis, the psychological needs, and the social circumstances of each patient. In partnership with the patient, a tailored effective treatment plan is devised. This plan may include medication, rehabilitation, lifestyle modification, psychological support, and injections to help achieve a satisfactory and realistic outcome for the patient. In some situations, I may need to collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve pain management.
